“ We dined here tonight for my company's Christmas dinner. The atmosphere and service were top notch. The appetizers leaned very shellfish heavy (I'm allergic) but everyone seemed to enjoy them. The sides are very large and enough for several people to share. The gouda potato gratin is not to be missed! Do yourself a favor if you're a mushroom lover and skip the sautéed mushrooms that are on the menu as a topping for the steak and order the duck fat mushrooms. The sautéed ones left so much to be desired but the duck fat ones were so very good. My ribeye was cooked a perfect medium rare and was seasoned appropriately. The wine list was great and I had no problem finding a great bottle of cabernet. I had the chocolate torte & coffee to finish the meal but was never brought the sugar in asked for when I ordered it and when it was brought to the table. Not a huge deal as the torte was very sweet & rich. Will definitely be back! ”

“ Vinnie’s has been my parents’ favorite restaurant for many years, and I’m fortunate that they treat me to a wonderful dinner when I visit! I have to give a special thanks to our fantastic waiter Jason, who has been with us on several occasions now. Last night my brother and his 5-year old daughter were also visiting. Jason was wonderful - he made sure that my niece’s dinner was very fast and even accommodated getting it out before the big people meals, and he was as always very welcoming and gracious to my parents. A big thank you to Vinnie’s for helping my family have such lovely dinners together. ”

“ My wife and I had dinner last night to celebrate my birthday. It was a wonderful experience. Our server, Valentina, was very friendly and on-the-ball at all times. They first brought out the complimentary starter deviled eggs, which we found delicious and unique. We began with an order of the okra which is only in-season at this time of year. The portion was huge, so plan to share; the picture below shows an almost half-eaten portion. Being from NC, I consider myself an okra aficionado, and this is the best I have ever eaten. Then we shared the Beefsteak Tomato special, which was very fresh, unique, and wonderful. I had the Delmonico steak -- prepared and seasoned perfectly, with just the right amount of crust on the surface of the steak. Since it was my Birthday, they offered me a complimentary dessert, and I chose their Blueberry Crostini. Chef Tom Armstrong came out to chat with us, answered all my wife's questions about how he makes the okra, and he shared how he visits the Farmers Market to pick out the vegetables personally. He came back out after they delivered the Crostini to see how I liked it. We had a fantastic time. This is a very special place for special occasions. ”
